FMM celebrates the visit of the young, internationally renowned Israeli-American composer Avner Dorman and the release of his new Naxos CD by presenting an orchestral selection along with other works from his repertoire. Conceived and conducted by our resident conductor, Nicholas Leh Baker, this program is a collaborative effort between the Consulate General of Israel, the Jewish Community Center and FMM. Also performing will be FMM’s Associate Artistic Director, Paul Boyd, and Artistic Director, Raúl Orlando Edwards, as well as Alison Greene, John Hendrickson, Melissa Suhr, Brittany Henry, and Adam Wolfe. Dorman will also speak about his work and sign copies of his CD at a reception following the concert.
